Overview
The purpose of the National Certificate in Banking Services Advice is to provide and equip students with a fundamental understanding, rigorous knowledge and relevant skills to comply with the requirements of the regulations under the FAIS Act to enable them to offer financial advice to clients in the banking sector.
This qualification also aims to provide qualifying students with the basic competencies and skills necessary to apply the essential principles of banking advice to the operations of any segment of the financial services sector.
The National Certificate in Banking Services Advice is offered at NQF Level 5 and is delivered via Contact and Distance Learning.
