The purpose of the National Certificate in Banking (Financial Services) is to provide and equip students with a fundamental understanding, rigorous knowledge and relevant skills to operate ethically and responsibly as financial advisors or intermediaries in the Financial Services industry.
This qualification aims to provide qualifying students with the basic competencies and skills necessary to apply the essential principles of banking to the operations of any segment of the financial services sector to the benefit of the local economy.
The National Certificate in Banking (Financial Services) is offered at a NQF Level 5 and is delivered via distance learning.
