The National Diploma in Human Resources Management and Practices provides you with a nationally accredited, internationally recognised human resources management qualification that will allow you to become employable as a human resource practitioner, human resource senior practitioner, human resource manager, human resource generalist, and related Human Resource positions.

Alternatively, if you are already running your own business, this programme will ensure that you will be able to perform the human resource management functions within your business. This programme will give you the qualifications you need to pursue a career as a human resource practitioner, human resource senior practitioner, human resource manager and/or human resource junior generalist.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The National Diploma in Human Resource Management consists of the following nine modules, plus a Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA):

  3. Legal Framework
  4. Human Resource Management 
  5. Labour Relations 
  6. Team Dynamics
  7. Skills Development 
  8. Education and Training 
  9. Management 

This nationally accredited and internationally recognised HR Management qualification will give you the skills and the background needed to become a highly sought after HR practitioner or HR manager.

This diploma will be useful to people who operationalise some aspects of the core processes and practices at a basic level across the four role clusters in human resources management and practices:

  • Strategic planning for human resources management and practices.
  • Acquisition, development and utilisation of people.
  • Establishment and improvement of labour and employee relations.
  • Compensation and administration related to human resources management and practices.

On successful completion of all 9 modules, you will write the national SABPP Final Integrated Summative Assessment.

FET Certificate in Human Resource Management and Practice Support.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

A knowledge, comprehension and application of the English language at NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent level) is required.
