Yes. Please decline the invitation. This is your final opportunity to check that your name and contact information are correct on myMilpark, as we will issue and deliver the qualification using those details. Please note that any corrections to or reprints of the certificate, or rescheduled delivery, may incur extra fees.
Please arrive two hours before the start of the ceremony. This will give you enough time to settle your guests, register, hire academic attire, take studio photographs (optional), and find your seat.
No. To maintain a comfortable environment for all, personal photographers will not be permitted inside the venue. A personal photographer refers to any individual using professional equipment, privately hired by a graduand or guest to follow them and take photos before, during and after the graduation.
Remember: Privately booked photographers will not be permitted.
Please take photos with your cellphone or a standard camera. Our stage and studio photographers will be inside the venue to capture you and your loved ones. And, if you complete your photo services form and place an online order at home, you will cut your queuing time on the day in half.
The studio photography services also offer interest-free split payment options (via Pay Just Now services) for online orders, so you and your guests have every opportunity to frame this joyous occasion.
No. We understand how special this day is for you and your loved ones. There is a guest limit per graduate to make sure everyone has space to have a great experience while we maintain a safe environment for all.
Remember: Additional guests will not be permitted.
Yes. If your child is younger than five years old, they can share a seat with your guest. If they are older, they need their own seat and should be included in your guest count.
Safety alert! All children must stay with their parent(s) and/or guardian(s) and may not wander around the venue unaccompanied.
No. All graduands must wear the correct attire prescribed by Milpark Education. Don't worry, we'll help you hire the correct academic attire at the venue on the day. There's no need to pre-order these items. Just return your attire after the ceremony.
Please note that: Each graduand must hire the complete academic attire for their qualification at the venue. Privately owned academic attire will not be permitted to prevent loss or mix-ups of sentimental items.
We’ve made graduation more accessible by removing the refundable deposit usually required to hire academic attire. Payments can be made using a debit or credit card, a mobile wallet, or SnapScan – strictly no cash. The hire fee ranges from R425 to R525, depending on your qualification. Please refer to the graduation guide you received with your invitation.
If you have other qualifications, you are welcome to wear your alma mater’s sash as part of your academic attire, so bring the sash (only) along.
No and yes. Academic attire won't be available for purchase at the venue. If you'd like to buy your attire ahead of (or after) the graduations, please let us know through helpdesk.milpark.ac.za (select Graduation) for further arrangements.
